Welcome back to another ministry update!
FUNDRAISING
As we mentioned in our first post, we are still fundraising to reach our goal to print Volume IV of CHASM Magazine. We’ve been blown away by the support we’ve received so far, whether from donations packages or merch purchases.
We still need approximately £500 to reach our print target, and any help - big or small - is beyond appreciated. CLICK HERE to see the different ways that you can help us spread the Gospel creatively through magazines!
FOCUS
Something that God is working on in us as a ministry is narrowing our focus. It is very easy in the fashion / art / media industries to lose depth and focus more on aesthetics than content quality. After all, that is the status quo for those industries. But God has been reminding us in this past season as we press on to print Volume IV that we also need to push for depth. There is nothing wrong with creating things that are beautiful (in fact, when we create with and for God, we should be creating the most excellent things we possibly can!), but it can be so easy to slip into superficiality without even realizing it. This is something that he’s challenging us in ministry-wise but also in our personal relationships with him. We don’t want to create a magazine that merely impresses people; we want to create a magazine that transforms hearts!
HOW YOU CAN PRAY
> That God will provide and we will keep on pushing for the remaining £500 that we need to print Volume IV, The Passion Issue, of CHASM!
> That as a ministry we will choose to be people of depth and that God will use us to transform hearts and the media industries!
